Wait for Walk is a photo series by German photographer Florian
Bohm, where he photographs passersby standing before traffic signals at
New York: motionless or fidgeting, lost in thought or deep in
conversation, staring at nothing or sidetracked by a cell phone, chosen
for him and posed for him by chance. Bohm’ series reveals an
astonishing wealth of information in a everyday moment so banal as
waiting at the traffic signal.
Florian Bohm was born in Germany in 1969. He lived and worked in Munich and New York.
