Created by British artist Paul St. George and built by the Artichoke group, that helped bring to life the Sultan's Elephant, which paraded across London two years back, this amazing work has just been inaugurated to celebrate the 125th birthday of the Brooklyn Bridge, in New York.

The giant telescope doesn't actually cross the deep soil, but it does allow citizens from New York and London to see what happens in each other's city. And in live video. Thanks, not to a tunnel, but to a transatlantic Internet connection with high definition cameras on both ends. While on the banks of the River Thames it's getting dark, New York is seeing its first rays of light. It's an idea that spikes up your imagination and is based on ancient humanity dreams.
